In order to assist mentoring programs in the state of California, we provide customized technical assistance and training. The Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS) administers the Mentoring Technical Assistance contract that is funded through the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP).

The Mentoring Technical Assistance Project provides free technical assistance and training to community and school-based organizations throughout California. The goals of this project are to:

Promote state-of-the-art mentoring strategies and programs using the framework of the Recommended Best Practices for Mentoring Programs |

Strengthen local mentoring efforts |

Increase communication between local mentoring programs |

Improve local programs' mentoring skills and technology |
